Graveley Residents Supper Club

December 2015 marked the last Christmas Meal held in the village hall for the senior citizens of Graveley, organised for very many years by the Cricket Club and latterly the Crouch family.

It left something of a void and after some discussion amongst villagers it was decided to start up a Graveley Residents Supper Club to meet up every 3 months in one of the local hostelries for a meal and a bit of chat. It is a very sociable occasion with conversation about travel, food, holidays and topics of local interest. It has now met consistently since then with around 16-18 regular attenders, not all seniors but obviously all Graveley residents.

Further details from:

Christine Rigg - 01438 726755

Details of forthcoming meals are posted here on the Village website and also in Graveley Matters, the village magazine.

Future Venues - Will focus on local pubs and eateries which are able to raise individual tabs for the diners  (not all able do so and it is impossible to sort out one big bill)!  Please get in touch if you have any suggestions for possible future venues.

We hope to see you soon.

Everyone Welcome.
